The LCD works on a combination of two states of matter, which are solid and liquid. The LCD consists of two layers they are polarized panels like filters and electrodes. The solid part is crystal and liquid and crystal together make a visible image. The LCD screen picture appears by blocking the light rather than emitting the light. The LCD has two types of pixel grids.
